How does the ASW Award link to the PQ Framework?

Approved Social Worker (ASW) programmes are examples of accredited courses that cover some of the requirements of the PQSW Award.

Successful completion of ASW programmes provides sufficient evidence of your skills in relation to requirements PQ2, PQ3, PQ4,and PQ5 and cores a) and b) in relation to these requirements.

Further work, possibly in the form of an individual portfolio, would enable anyone who holds this Award to complete a full PQSW Award.

The ASW Award does not evidence any of the requirements of the Advanced Award in Social Work (AASW)
