What is the Supported Learning Route?

The Supported Learning Route is appropriate if you do not want to undertake a taught course but wish to draw upon evidence from your own work experience and work-based training. Portfolios are submitted to a GLPQ-accredited Assessment Centre for assessment.

If you decide to undertake an individual portfolio you may need a Mentor. The Assessment Centre should be able to assist you. If you wish to use a mentor who is not currently approved by GLPQ, they can apply for approval. Details of how to do this are available from GLPQ. A Directory of GLPQ Approved Mentors is available to candidates who are registered with GLPQ.
