From its inception, the role of the Greater London Post Qualifying Education and Training Consortium (GLPQ) was to encourage, promote and support continuing professional development (CPD) for social workers in Greater London.

Since the new PQ framework has been launched, GLPQ’s role has changed; while still providing support and advice for registered candidates who have enquiries about both the outgoing and the new PQ framework, GLPQ’s primary focus is to provide a residual administrative service to enable candidates to obtain their professional PQ award certificates before the final deadline.
